I highly recommend the team at Dearbhla Quinn Equine Reproduction for both their foaling service and pregnancy package. Knowing that a vet was on site was what initially made me choose to send my mare there to foal, but the whole team has been absolutely brilliant and have treated both my mare and filly exceptionally well. The team were so welcoming from day 1 and removed all of the stress that can be associated with foaling and logistics of AI. The attention to detail and standard of care have been second to none and it has been a pleasure to have my horses there.
I left my mare with Derbhla and all the team at wrenwood for the pregnancy package. From the minute I enquired until I collected her the service was top notch! I received lots of photo updates which I loved! She stayed with them for 8 weeks and went into foal on her first cycle with them. It was nice knowing I didn’t need to worry about her and could fully trust the whole team to look after her! I will be sending her back to foal down! I would recommend anyone who is wanting to put their mare in foal but is new to the whole process to give them a call! She came home confirmed pregnant with a heart beat and looked absolutely brilliant coming home!
I would highly recommend Wrenwood to anyone looking for a place for their mare to foal. It really put my mind at ease knowing that a Vet was on site at all times and this is what made me choose Wrenwood in the first place. But since that they have been a pleasure to deal with, have offered loads of helpful advice and have sent me lots of photos and videos and updates of my new foal. Mare and foal are both doing really well and will stay there for a while longer for professional handling. I’d definitely use them again and if I had any mares I needed to get in foal or were tricky to get in foal I would send them to Dearbhla.
